Debate Update!

Just a quick update.

Wira debate competition. Sent in leon and Rishen, and a Form 2 kid, Amir as the bumi speaker. Didnt expect to win this one, seeing as to how strong SU are this year(breaking in the top 5 in help). But hopefully it was a good bit of exposure to the the new kids, Kiran, Melissa and especially Amir. All form 2 kids. Starting them young. Hopefully it pays off.

Seri Serdang(Gov) vs 17(opp)

This was an easy win. Solid performance from the team. Amir did well for a first timer, even taking a POI decently, with some help from Rishen of course.

Performance enhancing drugs should be legalised

SMKSU(Gov) vs 17(opp)

SMKSU were as solid as expected. Had a good case. Was an even debate with them having the edge. Rishen gave a stand out performance, one of the best single performances from a 17 debater. Win to smksu, THE eventual winners for Zone. Well you win some you lose some. So far 17 has been consistent in winning zone every other year, so we're counting on Rishen to lead 17 to next year's Zone Championship.

Theres still KDU coming up, will be great exposure for the kids, and word is out that Taylors might be back next year, so we're prepping the kids early.
