RM 1.70 ought to cover it right?

Actually the next post was supposed to be an opinion piece. But somethings just have to be written.

Maybe it was the fact that it was the first time he was complicit in a surprise birthday party. Maybe its because of all the ridiculously smart people he met. Maybe its how he ran a record 3 redlights. Maybe it was because of the way her eyes glistened at the end of it all, pure, childlike joy distilled from all the heavy, hard and rough bits of life. Maybe it was the free food. Actually come to think of it, the "chocolate indulgence" was good.

Whatever it was, it was fun. Especially the part when it was just him and 2 girls in a car. The things he has done with girls in his car. Mothers definitely wouldn't approve of.

It all started when she suggested they did something that required her to add "how about some spice in life?" Followed by a little challenge " you don't live life on the edge now do you?" Not to long after that they found themselves missing an exit, followed by taking the wrong exit, making a huge U turn, having to pay toll both ways, him having to resort to hazardous driving, running red lights, getting lost, stalking someone(twice) and giggling like a bunch of girls all the way home. Who da man?

But of course. The whole thing wasn't exactly an exercise in futility. There were some achievements. Instead of just penglibatan. He had the pleasure of meeting someone he's been wanting to meet for a long time. Looks like a nice, decent guy. Shame they didn't get to know each other better. He got inspired by a 23 year old with a double masters in religion and philosophy and a degree in chemistry who will be coming up with his own album. Not bad at all. Owh and he's pursuing law. At Cambridge. And most of all, it was a confirmation of sorts, of something that might actually last. Maybe it was more of a wistful realisation. Maybe he shouldn't use so many big words. Well its something that gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside. And it isn't just the free food.

A long tributary would probably be overdue at this point, but he wouldn't know where to start and how to end and probably wouldn't do justice to the amazing girl that she is(which loosely translates to "lazy lahh").

So theres only one thing left to do. Get this amazing birthday girl her present.
