The second team scrapped through this one with Esther performing best out of the 3, but still best speaker went to the other team.

A second round exit for the B team. Apparently the decision was biased, the judges were split, and even the teacher for the other team was surprised. It was a classic case of a good 3rd speaker saving the day after 2 lousy speakers. Nevertheless, the exposure to HELP was good, and there wasn't any embarrassment of suffering a first round exit. An all round decent job for a last minute debate team. One good thing to come out of it was an unearthed talent in Esther Chai. She could just make the team for taylors.
The first half of debate season is over, will spend the the rest of the off-season analysing and preparing for Taylors(which hopefully will resume as usual in June).
Debate is his life.

Hi, i'm the backup debator and photographer from SMKBUD4. Congrats to you guys for winning. The teachers only informed us about the debate a few days ago and the team was only made around 12 hours before the debate. :( Anyways, the pictures of the debate will be on my blog.
P.S. Sorry if my camera intimidated your team, didn't really think about that. o.0
