Despite the lack of preparation, despite the last minute drama, they finally pulled it off. He now has at the very least, something to show for 2 years of debating. Winning his first ever tournament. Here's how it went down:

Clear win.
Round 2
THW lower the voting age to 18
UNIMAS A vs UITM A
Clear win.
Round 3
THW make medical insurance compulsory for all
Clear win, opposition completely missing the boat.
Round 4
Curtin A vs UNIMAS A
THW prohibit media from using software to cosmetically improve an individual's appearance
Very close, UNIMAS edging Curtin out.
Round 5
SUTS A vs UNIMAS A
THBT the prison system should be privatised
Close to clear win for UNIMAS A
Quarterfinals
THBT we should not allow people alleging sexual harassment to settle their lawsuits out of court
Segi A vs UNIMAS A
Close to clear to UNIMAS, with a scare towards the end.
Semifinals
THBT the USA should stop the use of drones
UNIMAS A vs SUTS A
Very close, UNIMAS edging SUTS out. A debate that was definitely worthy of a final.
Final
THBT Proton should adopt a strategic change to develop cars that run on biofuel.
Curtin A vs UNIMAS A
He almost didnt make it to the final in time. But he did, with prep being limited to only the first 7 minutes of the PM's speech. But Ting Ting saved the day with her in depth understanding of biofuel, obviously the only person who knew what they were talking about in the debate.
A clear win for UNIMAS A. Ting Ting snagged the Finals best speaker, he got the overall best speaker, and UNIMAS Debating Society has another feather in its cap. Hopefully the first of many.
