It was a 3 round, one day event, and his teammates were also his usual "hangout-makan-and-just-about-everything-else-crew" of Fitri, Fitria and himself. 3 rounds of unanimous wins, a first place team ranking and a top 3 speaker ranking for himself was enough to return some semblance of confidence to his debating abilities.

A clear win, but they were newbies anyway. His reply speech was pretty decent or so he heard.
Round 2
THW criminalize abortions
INTI A(gov) vs Unimas A(opp)
A slightly tougher one, but a comfortable win nevertheless.
Round 3
THW assassinate a dictator
Swinburne B(gov) vs Unimas A(opp)
An interesting motion. A tight debate. But they managed to edge a much improved Ashik and co on this one with Fitri and Fitria especially peaking performance wise.
Overall Swinburne did a great job hosting the KDL, not to mention the "afterparty" of sorts. And judging from the feedback(Stephen of course), Unimas A seems to have left a decent impact. Maybe he'll stick to this combination of teammates, somehow the chemistry just works between them, and especially in YS and KDL its been working pretty well.
Borneo Cup, here we come.
